So, for my birthday, my wife took me to today's Michigan-Toledo football game.  (We won't talk about the score.)

Interesting observations ...
  • We walked through a major part of campus getting to the stadium ... which always reminds me of what campus life was like back in the stone ages when I was a student.
  • When did Beer Pong become so popular?  Everyone was playing it.
  • Weird moment of the day ... when the Michigan Marching Band, during the halftime show, rick-rolled the entire stadium.  Of course, just about nobody in the stadium got the joke ...
  • It's really weird being on a college campus where the gender distribution is 50-50.  I've been in 85-15 world for way too long ...

I haven't seen a girl since high school. Kettering, Computer Science, career in software engineering... one could wrongly assume I didn't care for the opposite sex.
