Long Live Low Tech

Okay, now that I've got that primal scream out of my system ...

If you know me at all, you know that I'm actually fairly skeptical about technology. I'm not exactly the first guy on the block to get all the gadgets ... mostly 'cuz I don't have the cash, but also because I don't usually see the point. Really Old Farts in my business had a saying: "Garbage In, Garbage Out". Which pointed out that just because you used an 18 gazillion dollar computer to do something didn't mean that the result was inherently any better than when you did it by hand.

Having said that, it's nice to see other people celebrating the glories of simple technologies that work, without a lot of excess feldercarp just flummoxing up the system.
