Twins are born late one night at a hospital.  The first twin is born 26 minutes before the second twin.  But on the birth certificates, the second twin has an earlier time of birth than the first twin.  And the birth certificates are completely correct.  How can this happen?

Read this story for the answer.

Even more interesting would be the twins who are 4 years apart (leap year baby and Feb 28/March 1 baby)!

I actually ran into something similar the first time I went to England. I went over my birthday, and I was acutely aware of the time difference. Well, I was born at 8pm, which is technically 1am - so by US standards, my birthday was 3 July, but if you wanted to get techincal, when I'm in England, I have to celebrate on the 4th. ;-)
