brackets

So, for the last several years, Jane & I have always picked NCAA tournament brackets.  In the last few years, we've had the kids pick brackets too.  My toddler picks based on the team mascots, with pretty predictably bad results.  Jane & I usually split.

This year, my oldest is old enough to understand how seedings work ... so, she picked the favorite in every single game.  Which means, of course, she picked the final four correctly, since this is the first time ever that four 1-seeds made the finals.

Other than that, she & I are pretty competitive.

But for the final four, I've got a small chance to beat her.  She's got Memphis beating UNC in the finals, while I have Kansas losing in the finals.

It'd be embarrassing to be beat by a first grader ..
