monkeys!
You Kettering readers know of my particular fascination with the Barrel of Monkeys toy as a tool for teaching linked lists ... and my copy of the toy with monkeys painted in various colors (based on what spray paints I have at home).  Of course, those paints were never designed for the toy, so the paint flakes off all the time, and I have to remember to bring the silly thing home and repaint them all.

My wife, who is full of awesome, discovered that Playskool now makes the Barrel of Monkeys in Uber-size, pre-painted in bold colors, calling it something rather ordinary like My First Barrel of Monkeys.  I now have two of these, and I am filled with glee at how my demonstrations will be that much better this year.

Of course, I'm avoiding the three talks that I have to give in two weeks ... augh!

I fully regret that I never had the chance to take a class from you.

Any professor who uses a Barrel of Monkeys in class discussion just has to be made of awesome.

I could ... but it's probably easier to just let you read the paper.
